With the "Best Applications Contest" Siemens wants to highlight innovative applications in which its drive technology has been used to reduce downtime or increase efficiency.

This year, two applications were selected in cooperation with our customers:

• Programming of a 2-motor loading arm for tankers, in close cooperation with our customer.
  This automation increased safety and ergonomics for the drivers.
  Give your vote
• Design, manufacture and programming of a crane for the transport of metal sheets for our customer Walcarius.
  The loading crane with ASRM application can transport loads up to 6 tons on 2m x 6m wagons.
